Brain Research Highlighted at the WBBA Governor’s Summit

Brain research will be one of the highlighted topics of discussion.

David Poston, COO of the Allen Institute for Brain Science will be discussing a 10-year vision for brain research at the Institute which is working in collaboration with other large scale national and international research efforts to unlock the mysteries of how the brain works.

John DesRosier, PhD, Executive Director of the Life Sciences Discovery Fund will give an update on LSDF, which recently announced the the latest round of Proof of Concept Grant awards, where neuro-related research was the topic of 2 of the 5 POC grants awarded.
